As the holiday season encroaches upon us, we line up outside of stores to spend our money to our heart’s content. However, if you’re anything like me, you might have a hard time figuring out what to put on your wish list. In order to combat this problem, the Wolfpack Post has collected a survey to see what students and teachers alike want this upcoming break.
Some of what people are asking for this year most popularly includes: new clothing, shoes (boots and air maxes primarily), Airpods – which apparently get stolen quite often on campus, electronics such as a new gaming PC or phone, money and gift cards, and Legos. Makeup and skincare items also belong on many people’s list this year, since as one person put it, “I am running low on certain makeup items… and I enjoy doing skincare.” One person is especially keen on getting two tickets for Mean Girls the Musical, and other experience-based presents are popular as well.
Classroom related items also seem to be ranking high on the list, along with household presents among teachers. Gifts range all the way from pens to Lululemon leggings, to a vacation trip, to more time (that one may be rather difficult to supply).
As we get closer to the gift giving season, let’s not forget the most important gift of all as one staff member put it: time with family. I hope each and every one of you enjoy this special time with loved ones and relax and rejuvenate for second semester.
